A Vegas face is an indoor target with three scoring spots arranged in a triangle, one for each arrow of a three-arrow end. Each spot is the centre of a 40 cm face, scoring gold 10 and 9, red 8 and 7, and blue 6. It is the face of the Vegas Shoot and many winter leagues.

The Vegas round is shot at 20 yards: 10 ends of three arrows, 30 arrows in all, for a maximum of 300. That is why archers call it a Vegas 300. At the Vegas Shoot, held each winter in Las Vegas, championship archers shoot one round a day for three days, and many clubs run the same round as a weekly league through the indoor season.

The three spots exist to protect arrows and to keep the scoring honest. On a single face, tight groups mean arrows striking each other and damaging nocks and shafts; splitting the end across three spots spreads them out. Anything outside the blue 6 ring on a spot is a miss. Under the Vegas Shoot championship rules only one arrow is allowed per spot, and a second arrow in the same spot costs you the higher-scoring arrow, so check the rulebook for your round.

At the Vegas Shoot every division scores the full gold ten on the three-spot. The small X-ring inside it is recorded for tie-breaks, and in a championship shoot-off only the X scores 10. That differs from World Archery indoor rules, where compound archers score only the inner ring as 10. The same paper can be scored two ways, so know which rulebook your event follows.

The Vegas Shoot also lets archers choose between the three-spot and a single-spot 40 cm face scored 10 to 1, and some youth divisions shoot a larger 60 cm face. Because the spots are small and the distance short, the Vegas face rewards consistency more than power, which makes a weekly Vegas 300 a clean benchmark: your total out of 300, and how many of those tens were Xs.
